Teaching

Miriam Davidson has been in demand as an educator and a performer since 2002. She has a Bachelor of Music degree from the University Of British Columbia. She teaches voice and beginner piano in her studio in the Fraserview area of Vancouver as well at Mt. Pleasant Community Centre and at the Shadbolt Centre for the Arts.

Miriam takes a very positive and encouraging approach to voice and piano teaching. Voice lessons for youth and adults focus building good control, tone and confidence through breath support. Students choose the style of music that they want to sing and so they get the most enjoyment out of the lessons. Miriam also has a great deal of experience in working with young children in voice and piano. Beginner piano lessons are best suited to children 6 years and older. She works with each child one on one in exploring the joy of making music.
